Happy Thanksgiving. 🦃. We want to thank all our family, friends and supporters. It was a tough year for the family. We had many health setbacks and even lost a family member. We wouldn’t and couldn’t survive without all your love and kindness. Enjoy your families today because in the end that’s all that’s really important.

Today SwampTown’s very own Michael starts his first day at the university of Delaware. New chapter in his life. We are so proud of him. His first day is a busy and long day with classes tonight too. First stop. Where else the Carpenter sports building. Mom being an alumni is really happy her son is a Blue Hen.

We have been sitting on this news for a while. Only a few were told. We at SwampTown want to not only congratulate our own Michael but wish him well today as he has his first walk around and orientation today as a Blue Hen!!! He signed a commitment letter on May 1st and received a partial scholarship to the University of Delaware!!! He will be majoring in fine arts 🎭 and hopes to be an animator and video game designer. Michael hopes to be a big contributor to both the football team and lacrosse team as well. I guess mom and dad should of held onto their season tickets a few more years. Michael was blue hen all conference award winner and was on honor roll most of his high school years at St George’s. We are all so proud of him. No doubt his grandmother is looking down with a tear of joy in her eyes. She loved her Britt boys. Congratulations 🎊🍾🎈🎉 again and here’s to the class of 2025!!! Go hens!!!

Congratulations 🎈🎊🍾🎉 to SwampTowns own Benjamin on his first year at Christiana middle school honors academy and maintaining a 4.083 GPA and on honor roll the entire year. He ended with a final grade of 100 in a few classes. He also led his soccer team to an undefeated season not only winning but playing in the championship with two broken arms that he received the last 3 weeks in soccer games.
We are especially proud of this young man because he achieved all this during a very rough year that most adults couldn’t handle not alone a 12 year old. He endured starting a new school. Covid restrictions he experienced his father having several strokes and other health issues. He lost his grandmother that he was very very close to and was by her side when she passed. This young man still smiles like he always does when he is working on the food truck. Congratulations 🎊🎉🍾🎈 again Big Ben!!!! We are proud of you.

Today SwampTown’s own Michael will walk at Frawley stadium to receive his high school diploma. He will be wearing his medal for exemplary student in his career area. He also has been an honor roll student all year. He also received the iron hawk award for playing two sports two years in a row. He also received the blue hen all conference award for football. He has had a very successful high school experience to say the least. We are very proud of the young man he is becoming.
This is just the beginning stay tuned for an exciting announcement on his next chapter of life.

Since you were conceived it’s been an exciting time from weeks in nicu and costing over 1 million in medical bills to all the great and exciting adventures we all have had together. Your babci (grandmother) was always so proud of you and we are sure she is still very proud of the young man you have become. We know there are so many more adventures to come and we are very proud of your direction you have chosen to take. Happy birthday young man!!!! We love you!!! Sto Lat!
