Southern Style Cheeseburger Pie Recipes
Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 small onion chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup milk
2 large eggs
1/2 cup Bisquick mix
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon ketchup

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in the salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup. Mix well.
Transfer the beef mixture into a 9-inch pie plate and spread it evenly.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and Bisquick mix until smooth.
Pour the Bisquick mixture over the beef and cheese in the pie plate.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow the pie to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes
Try adding cooked crumbled bacon or swapping in pepper jack cheese for a spicier twist. This pie pairs perfectly with a crisp garden salad or steamed green beans.

Pineapple Upside Down Cake

Ingredients

2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour

1 ½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened

1 cup (200g) sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup (120ml) milk

½ cup (120g) sour cream or yogurt

½ cup (100g) brown sugar

¼ cup (60g) unsalted butter, melted (for topping)

Pineapple slices (fresh or canned, about 6–8 rings)

Maraschino cherries (optional, for center of pineapple rings)

Instructions
Grease a round cake pan (8 or 9-inch). Pour the melted butter into the bottom and sprinkle evenly with the brown sugar. Arrange pineapple slices over the sugar layer and place cherries in the center of each ring.

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In another bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla. Mix in sour cream.

Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, mixing until just combined.

Spread the batter carefully over the pineapples. Smooth the top.

Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let the cake rest in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate while still warm so the topping releases easily.

Crispy, spicy, and full of flavor – a restaurant-style starter!

Ingredients (for 500g chicken)
Boneless chicken – 500g, cut into cubes 🍗
Egg – 1 🥚
Cornflour – 3 tbsp 🌽
All-purpose flour (maida) – 2 tbsp 🍥
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp 🧄
Soy sauce – 2 tbsp 🥢
Red chili sauce – 1 tbsp 🌶️
Green chili sauce – 1 tbsp
Vinegar – 1 tsp 🍶
Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt – to taste 🧂
Oil – for frying 🛢️

For tossing:
Garlic – 1 tbsp, chopped 🧄
Ginger – 1 tsp, chopped
Green chilies – 2-3, slit 🌶️
Onion – 1 medium, diced 🧅
Capsicum – 1, diced 🫑
Spring onion greens – for garnish 🌿
Soy sauce – 1 tbsp

Instructions

1. Marinate the chicken
Mix chicken with egg, cornflour, maida, ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, pepper, and salt. Rest for 30 mins. 🕒

2. Deep fry the marinated chicken till golden and crispy. Set aside. 🍗🔥

3. In a wok, heat 2 tbsp oil. Sauté garlic, ginger, green chilies till fragrant. 🧄🌶️

4. Add onions and capsicum. Stir-fry on high for 2 mins. 🫑

1 graham cracker pie crust

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

1/4 cup lemon juice

1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling

HOW TO MAKE IT

Beat Cream Cheese: In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.

Mix Filling: Add vanilla, condensed milk, and lemon juice. Beat until well blended and silky.

Fill Crust: Pour mixture into the graham cracker crust, spreading evenly.

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cornstarch

2 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for spice)

3 cups vegetable oil (for frying)

🧑‍🍳 Directions:

Preheat oil in a heavy skillet or Dutch oven to 350°F (175°C).

Soak chicken: Place chicken in a bowl with buttermilk, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (overnight gives the best flavor).

🛒 Ingredients:

4 bone-in or boneless pork chops

4 medium potatoes, sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 cups chicken broth

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

👩‍🍳 Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Season pork chops with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear pork chops for 2–3 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt butter, then stir in flour to make a quick roux. Cook for 1 minute.

Slowly add chicken broth while stirring to create a smooth gravy. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
