It’s me vs. the boys to settle one very important question: Who makes the best Espresso Martini?

We originally met competing against each other in a Bordiga competition (I won)… and apparently we haven’t learned how to stop.

So now we’re running it back — competing for the BEST and COLLABING for the REST.

Ligaw took a break….

There’s something really special about watching a team of women show up for each other, play for each other, and represent New York while sitting beside our little team of baddies who show up for Ligaw every single day. Oh and we saw Queen Latifah and Malala Yousafzai ! Just a bunch of baddies under a roof that makes us wanna DO BETTER

This bar wouldn’t be what it is without our team. SO BE KIND when you walk down those stairs and meet us. We like being treated like humans :)

And to the New York Liberty : thank you for continuing to give this city, women, girls, and the q***r community something to show up loud and proud for. Let’s fill those stadiums so we can get these ladies paid more!

Still processing this one. 🥹

What started as two wives with a plan A, a lot of tools, and absolutely no idea what we were getting ourselves into somehow turned into this.

To be seen by GO Magazine, to have our story told, and to be included among so many incredible q***r leaders feels unreal. We built Ligaw because we wanted to create the kind of space we wished existed for us and somehow, along the way, that little dream became bigger than us.

We’re learning there’s something powerful about saying big dreams out loud. So we’re going to keep speaking them into the universe, keep doing the work, and keep seeing what happens.

Deeply grateful. Slightly emotional. Still strong enough to believe we’re just getting started.

Thank you, GO Magazine and everyone that believed in us , and for seeing us.
