Festival of lights, hosted by actual luminaries 🪔 Mira Nair, Salman Rushdie, and Radhika Jones’ Diwali dinner at Passerine — in honor and support of Asian American Writers' Workshop — twinkled all evening in our beautiful space.

The menu matched the guest list.
Diya Mules, Harvest Tomato Martinis, Spicy Indian Chili Margaritas with garam masala salt… then: Shrimp Chettinad, Chicken Cafreal, Katafi Samosa, a nihari short-rib pot pie (!!), and sticky date cake with jaggery caramel to finish.

The New York Times came too. ✨ Thank you, so much, Alisha Haridasani Gupta. And to Gaurav Bathla for the incredible culinary experience that lit up the table.
