The Handpulled Noodle Handpulled Noodles from Northwest China. Our noodles will also be unique in preparation style.

The Handpulled Noodle features country style cooking from Northwestern China, an area that is historically the gateway to the Silk Road*. This meeting of worlds can be seen directly in the flavor profile of the dishes, which is a delicious union of Arabic and Chinese cuisine which I call Northwestern Chinese Soul Food! Fans of both Chinese & Middle Eastern food will find the menu at The Handpulled

Noodle intriguingly familiar, yet distinct. Instead of pre-packaged machine-made noodles which are a staple in the restaurant scene, ours are pulled by hand to order and have a superior texture and freshness. All the dishes are made using family recipes that span generations and it is my hope that The Handpulled Noodle will be a welcome piece in the mosaic of diversity that is Harlem.

*The Silk Road's name is derived from the lucrative export of Chinese silk along this global trade route, which connected the Roman, Persian, Byzantine, and Chinese empires two Millenia ago.

Slow-cooked 5-spice pork or chicken. Pickled green papaya. Crisp lettuce. A scallion pancake tucked inside. Veggie spring roll. Secret garlic white sauce. And an umami pancake sauce on the bottom that hits before you even take a bite.
