π§ Baked Feta with Olives π
A simple, flavorful Mediterranean-inspired dish with creamy baked feta, olives, and sun-dried tomatoes. Perfect for a cozy appetizer or a side dish paired with crusty bread.
π Ingredients:
150g block feta
1 cup pitted olives
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 cup semi-sundried tomatoes
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon marjoram
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
Freshly ground pepper, to taste
Optional: chili flakes for extra heat
Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)
Crusty bread or mini-baguette slices, for serving

1οΈβ£ Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 180Β°C (fan-forced).
2οΈβ£ Prepare the Feta & Herbs:
Place the block of feta in the center of a small baking dish.
Sprinkle the feta with oregano, thyme, marjoram, rosemary, and a pinch of freshly ground pepper.
3οΈβ£ Add the Olives & Tomatoes:
Scatter the pitted olives and semi-sundried tomatoes around the feta in the baking dish.
4οΈβ£ Mix & Drizzle:
In a small dish, mix together the extra virgin olive oil, crushed garlic, and a bit more oregano and thyme.
Drizzle this mixture over the feta, olives, and tomatoes.
5οΈβ£ Bake:
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes until the feta is soft and slightly golden on top.
6οΈβ£ Serve & Garnish:
Remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.
Optionally, add a sprinkle of chili flakes for a bit of heat.
Serve the baked feta warm with crusty bread or mini-baguette slices for dipping.
