Giving Coffee donates a book to a child in need in Latin America for every bag of our coffee you purchase. All of our roasts are certified Organic and Fair-Trade. Giving Coffee is a partner of Giving for Living, an international non-profit organization dedicated to supporting local education, employment and health care for families living in Latin America. In 2003, founder Roland Dib backpacked through Nicaragua, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic. Along the way, he met children, women and families who were living without access to basic education, employment and health care. When he returned home, Roland created Giving for Living to help the families he met during his travels abroad. To date, Giving for Living has donated over 12 million articles of clothing, shoes, bicycles and books to children, women and families living in Central America. Giving for Living operates a mobile library (bibliotec mobil) that drives through local towns and villages, grants micro-loans to local working women and transports medication and equipment to local health care clinics.
