Some of the best stories at La Masseria aren’t just on the menu, they’re the people behind it🇮🇹

Meet our General Manager, Vito Schiavone. For a little over four years, he’s been welcoming guests through our doors with the kind of hospitality that can’t be taught. It’s something he grew up with in Puglia, where every meal is an occasion, every guest is treated like family, and every bottle of wine has a story to tell.

When we asked Vito to share a favorite red, he chose the 2024 Passo del Cardinale Primitivo di Manduria. It’s a wine that feels like home to him. Full-bodied, beautifully balanced, and rooted in the same region that shaped his love for Italian food and hospitality.
