Honored to help restore a piece of history. 🇺🇸

The America’s Response Monument has officially been restored!

First unveiled at the NYC Veterans Day Parade in 2011, this remarkable monument found its permanent home at Liberty Park in 2016. Today, it stands restored to its full glory, continuing to honor a powerful chapter in our nation’s history.

This achievement was a true collaborative effort. A heartfelt thank you to sculptor Douwe Blumberg and his team, as well as Michael Donovan from WPC USA, who spearheaded the vital funding and project coordination, with assistance from the Port Authority.

The Stuart Dean team is incredibly proud to have contributed our architectural preservation expertise to such a prestigious and meaningful project.

Celebrating 250 Years of American Independence.

This Fourth of July, our nation marks a historic milestone-the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

For two and a half centuries, Americans have built, preserved, and strengthened the places that tell our story. From historic landmarks to modern architectural spaces, these structures reflect the craftsmanship, innovation, and resilience that define our communities.

At Stuart Dean, we’re proud to help preserve and maintain architectural surfaces and places that stand the test of time, ensuring they remain beautiful, functional, and protected for future generations.

As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, we honor the enduring spirit of preservation, stewardship, and pride in the places we call home.

Wishing you and your family a safe happy Independence Day!

For over 90 years, our work has centered on one simple idea: take care of what’s already there. This Earth Day, we’re reminded that sustainability isn’t just about what we build — it’s about what we preserve.
At our core, architectural surface restoration is about extending the life of what already exists — reducing waste, minimizing resource consumption, and protecting the character of our built environment for generations to come.
Every facade restored, every surface maintained, is a step toward a more sustainable future.
