Twenty years in the making, and not exactly one to make a quiet entrance.

Mas Amiel’s Maury is a favorite of our W**e Director, Jerry Cox. A blend of several vintages, made primarily from Grenache Noir and aged for a minimum of twenty years, it has all the richness and complexity that comes with time, while remaining beautifully fresh.

And then there’s the bottle. Generous in every sense, it’s hard to miss making its way across the dining room and even harder not to be curious about what’s inside.

A little spectacle for the table, and a very good reason to stay for one more glass.

At the helm of our kitchen, Chef Chris Emery.

Born and trained in England, Chef Christopher Emery brings over 15 years of experience in some of the world’s most acclaimed kitchens. He began his career at the three-Michelin-starred Waterside Inn under Chef Alain Roux before joining the teams at Cliveden House and Lucknam Park.

Chef went on to work alongside Jason Atherton for several years, holding leadership roles at Social Eating House, STARR's Clocktower, and Pollen Street Social. Most recently, he served as Executive Chef of Orelle in Birmingham, where he oversaw multiple outlets and developed refined, contemporary menus.

At Le Coucou, he combines his classical training and love for French technique with a modern sensibility, creating food that’s elegant, soulful, and grounded in seasonality.
