THANK YOU, HARLEM. FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS.
We’re still trying to take in everything that happened this past week.
The flowers. The gifts. The hugs. The kind words. The messages — public and private. The people who stopped by just to say goodbye.
We never could have imagined this much love.
In just four years, Pastitalia became part of so many memories, friendships, celebrations and special moments. And this last week made us realize just how much this little place meant to so many of you.
It was an unforgettable week — beautiful, overwhelming and more emotional than we ever expected.
Thank you to every single person who walked through our door, shared a meal with us, supported us, laughed with us and became part of our story.
We’ll carry your words, your hugs and all these memories with us wherever life takes us next.
Four years. So many memories. So much love.

Dear Harlem,
This is probably the hardest post we’ve ever had to write.
After a lot of thought, we have decided that the time has come to close Pastitalia.
It’s not easy to say goodbye to something that has been such a big part of our lives. Pastitalia was never just a business to us. It was our passion, our hard work, our kitchen, our table — and, most of all, the people we met along the way.
We cooked for you, celebrated with you, got to know your families, watched familiar faces come back through our doors and welcomed new ones every day.
And you gave us so much in return.
Your support, your kind words, your incredible reviews, and every single “see you next time” meant more to us than you probably ever knew.
Now, it’s simply time for us to begin a new chapter.
We leave with tired bodies, full hearts, and so many memories that will stay with us forever.
To every person who has been part of Pastitalia, whether you visited us once or became part of our little family:
thank you. Truly.
And to Harlem, the neighborhood that welcomed us and became our home:

This is probably the hardest post we’ve ever had to write.
After a lot of thought, we have decided that the time has come to close Pastitalia.

PASTITALIA will be closed from September 1st through September 22st while our team takes some time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the last days of summer.
