Today is a big day for Criollas. ❤️🥟🇦🇷

We’re beyond excited to officially open our newest location at Freehold Raceway Mall Freehold Raceway Mall, in NJ.

What started as one small shop with a dream has become another step toward sharing Argentina’s favorite empanada with even more people! Seeing this community grow means everything to us and all thanks to you.

This is just the beginning… more locations are on the way. 🚀

From baking empanadas to talking business at the New York Stock Exchange NYSE 🏛 🇦🇷📈

Never in a million years did I think selling Argentine empanadas would one day have me talking about the World Cup on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. But that’s exactly what happened!

This World Cup has reminded me that sports aren’t just entertainment - they completely change the rhythm of a business.

A few things we’ve learned at Criollas:
🥟 Some days you think you’re ready... and then one match changes everything.
📈 Demand can spike overnight, but your quality and service can’t. That’s the real challenge.
🤝 Every new customer is an opportunity to introduce someone to a little piece of Argentina.

The numbers behind it are incredible:
• 🇺🇸 The FIFA World Cup is expected to generate more than $17 billion in economic impact across the U.S.
• 🗽 New York & New Jersey alone are projected to see over $3.3 billion in economic activity, 1.2 million visitors, and 26,000+ jobs created.
• 🌎 Latino-owned businesses continue to be one of the fastest-growing forces in the U.S., with 5+ million businesses generating well over $800 billion in annual revenue.

As a Latino entrepreneur, I’m incredibly proud that something as simple as an Argentine empanada can be part of that story.

Pride in New York just hits different. 🌈

This week we got to do a Pride pop-up with Anthropologie at their Chelsea Market and Rockefeller Center stores. The launch also featured their new Home Collection, and honestly... it was the perfect set up. Thoughtful, colorful, and made for the kind of gatherings we care about most. It made us feel right at home… and exactly the kind of place that makes you want to host more often with Criollas!
