Dear New Wilmington Community,
It is with a heavy heart that we are here to inform you that Mugsies Coffee House will be closing the doors at 139 South Market Street for the final time on February 26th at 3:00pm.
This is a difficult moment for us and has been necessitated by a multitude of reasons.
As many of you know- we are the third owners of Mugsies. We would like to thank both the DiMuccio family, and the Egan family for the fourteen years of dedication, service, and love of Mugsies that they gave prior to us. We would also like to thank each and every customer that has ever walked through the doors of 139 S Market for the past 19 years.
So many of you have shared stories with us... Stories of friendship, stories of love & stories of the community. We have been blessed to have heard each story and to have been part of so many of them. We will miss being part of New Wilmington- we will miss the conversations, and we will miss being part of your day. We will miss the Friday afternoons of Market St being filled with WIlmington school students. We will miss being part of the events that New Wilmington is so very good at doing... the parades, Trick or Treating, Christmas in the Park, and Fresh Market.
We have had the pleasure of meeting so many Westminster students over the past 5 years. We have loved the opportunity to know you all! Some of you have been our employees, some of you have become our friends, and some of you have become part of our family. We have shared such pride in watching each of you grow and follow your dreams. To the Alumni, that came before us, thank you for your continued support. To the faculty and staff of Westminster, we have always appreciated your dedication and we will miss being part of the Titan Pride.
The heart beat that is Mugsies was built on so much more than just coffee... It was built on community and a love to serve. The pulse is not gone from New Wilmington...We would like to congratulate Fractured Grape and the Nova Destinations team on their newest addition to the community- Pulse Coffee Company- Coming in March 2022! Please join us in supporting them and their continued dedication to New Wilmington.
As this is a difficult time for us- we assure you that there are wonderful things coming to 139 S Market street in the future! We look forward to supporting and welcoming what the future holds.
