The old saying goes… all good things must come to an end. 💛

Tomorrow is a day I have been absolutely dreading — Ava’s last day at Bizzy Bean after FIVE years. To say she has been an employee feels unfair, because she has truly been so much more than that. She has been the heart behind so many smiles, conversations, and cups of coffee over the years.

If you know Ava, you know exactly what I mean. She remembers your drink, how you like your coffee, and somehow always knows exactly what to say to brighten someone’s day. She is dependable, reliable, hardworking, and one of the most genuinely kind people I have ever met. She has become family not only to me, but to so many of our customers and this community.

One of the craziest parts for me is realizing I’ve watched her grow up here. I’ve watched her graduate high school, get married, created her home, and now begin the most beautiful chapter yet — becoming a mom and staying home with her sweet baby. While I selfishly have no idea how we’re supposed to do this place without her, I could not be happier or more proud of her.

Ava, thank you for five incredible years. Thank you for loving this business like it was your own. Thank you for showing up for me, for our team, and for our customers day after day. There will never be another you.

Tomorrow, swing by and don’t say goodbye — say “see you later” to Ava and help us celebrate everything she has meant to Bizzy Bean over the last five years. We are sure going to miss her more than words can say. 💕

Today we were incredibly honored to receive this beautiful award from the VFW Post 10818 New Richmond / St. Croix County

Truthfully, recognition is never why we do what we do. Supporting our community, veterans, and the people around us has always just been something we believe in wholeheartedly. But being acknowledged in such a meaningful way is truly humbling.

Thank you to the VFW for this honor and for everything you do for our veterans and community every single day. We are beyond grateful and proud to support such an amazing organization. ❤️🤍💙
