Week 3 of Citizen’s Academy took me to the beautiful New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatic Center to spend the class with Parks and Rec.

The facility is beautiful, and I enjoyed learning about all of the great parks our city has for residents and visitors to enjoy.

It was also my first time on the DART, the trolly that brings guests from the parking garage around downtown. I don’t use it because I’m often working, but it’s a great resource to help with parking, especially on busy weekends.

This week will be my 4th meet up, marking the half way mark of the program.

It’s been nice to learn so much about our community!

While Mama B continues to recover, and Bryan has citizen’s academy, someone has to hold down the fort. Right?!?

I know, I’m better at pouring tea than I am b**r, but I am looking forward to spending some time with you in our brewery. It’s been a while.

If you know me, my life is a comedy, and I promise, me being behind the bar will be a big hoot.
