Picture this: the time has come and as you drive up the Castle hill, you're only a few minutes away from checking into Empress Matilda. Our staff gives you the welcome tour and the vibes are high. Your adventure is about to begin!

You decide to grab two scavenger hunts to start exploring the nooks and crannies of the Castle and you head outside, only to run into Bob and Tiki (petting optional, but encouraged)!

Dinner? The Raven's Roost Pub! You soak up the sun on the Pub Patio and enjoy a Pesto & Sun-Dried Tomato Grilled Cheese. The hardest decision you'll make is deciding which drink to order.

You grabbed a few board games to play back in your room, and you finish the evening enjoying a Castle Butterbeer sitting on your deck overlooking the grounds.

We had a cancellation next weekend, June 12th & 13th, for Woodcutter's Cottage in the Medieval Village!

Woodcutter's features log trim and a log headboard on a king bed. There is a kitchenette, double whirlpool with shower, and a long back deck overlooking the woods which makes for a great place to stargaze. ✩

Breakfast is always included for overnight guests at the Castle and we have plenty to do onsite so you never have to leave the property!

Of course, if you want to venture out, there are so many things to do nearby:
