Summer is here and we’ve kicked off our 2nd Annual Pete’s Diorama Contest! Plus we’re raffling off some of last year’s entries to donate between Trap Dat Cat and Toups Family Meal! And we are VERY excited to announce this year’s special guest judge is L. Delaney—a local artist and incredibly talented miniaturist!

1. It is free to participate—we would just ask that you send in the registration form OR your information by AUGUST 1, 2026 so we can get a head count of participants. Message us a picture of the form to Pete’s Out in the Cold on Instagram. Email a picture of the form to [email protected] a hard copy off at the bar! If you don’t notify us, we may not have space for you.

2. Base can be no larger than 12x15 inches but it can go as high as you want (within reason...).

3. Theme this year is Pete’s Around the World (highly suggested but not required). Think Pete’s in Paris, Pete’s on the Moon, Pete’s on a pirate ship. Interpretation is up to you.

4. Bring your entries to Pete’s by 6:15 pm, and check in with Autumn. If you can’t be there but still want to participate, message us to make arrangements.

4. Party kicks off at 7 and judging is at 8:30 pm.

5. Prizes for 1st ($125), 2nd ($75), 3rd ($50), and People’s Choice ($50), plus some sweet Pete’s merch and the admiration of your neighbors.

6. Following the judging will be the raffle to win one of last year’s amazing entries. Drawing is random-you don’t get to choose a specific entry-bc they were ALL amazing! Tickets are $10 and all raffle proceeds will be shared between Trap Dat Cat and Toups Family Meal. You don’t need to be present to win.You can buy raffle tickets all summer long!

Tonight is our second Pete’s Summer Saturday Series night and it’s Diorama Kick Off Night! 🍺 🏠 From 7-9 you can swing by and pick up an entry form and requirement list for the contest.

Plus we’ll have some of last year’s entries on display, which we will be raffling off for charity at this year’s contest on August 8. All raffle proceeds will be split between two of our favorite groups, Trap Dat Cat and Toups Family Meal!

So have a drink, buy some raffle tickets, and start planning! Plus we’ve got Hi-Tide Pizza serving up their tasty pizzas at 6:30 on the patio!

Whewwwwwww, it’s been a week. Luckily for you we’ve got happy hour from 5-7 and Malkriados Kitchen at 6 with some really fantastic Mexican food, so come on through.

And wishing everyone a happy and meaningful Juneteenth- check out Dew Drop Inn Hotel & Lounge and New Orleans Juneteenth Fest for events happening in the city to commemorate and celebrate.

Rain chances are dropping as the day goes on, and that means you can make it to Thursday night at Pete’s! ▪️◾️◼️WASKA◼️◾️▪️ is bringing back the goodness at 6! Plus it’s Disco Inferno bingo and all bingo proceeds this week are being donated to Toups Family Meal, whose mission is to address hunger insecurities for families in need, with a focus on supporting children and individuals facing food insecurity in Orleans Parish. Games run 7-9.
