Depending how you know me, you might call me Greg, Steve-o, or maybe even Big Poppa (Big Poppa Eats) But regardless, you’ve probably heard me talk about Hogs For The Cause. It’s more than a weekend of pork puns and pony races. It’s a year round commitment to helping families when they need it the most.

I joined Team March of the Pigs in 2019 and never looked back. In 2023, once the kids were a little more grown, my wife, Marissa Starr, was able to join in on the fun and we’ve been an unstoppable pig smoking, fund raising duo since. Knowing that we have helped so many families, some we know personally, keeps us motivated to raise even more every year.

Last year, our team raised its millionth dollar. What was once a ridiculous idea became a reality thanks to everyone who has donated along the way. We couldn’t have done it without you!

We’ve set an even bigger team goal of $300k this year. If you can, please donate here to help us lift the burden from these families during their hardest moments.
