As the season winds down, we’re coming up on our last large public event until December! 🌭

This Saturday, 10/10, we’ll be at Subiefest from 10AM–4PM serving up Drew’s Dogs.

It’s going to be a busy weekend for Drew’s Dogs! 🌭

We’ll be serving up the good stuff at the Morris Lions Club Car Show & Swap Meet on Saturday 10/3 and Sunday 10/4 at the Grundy County Fairgrounds.

The car is Drew's “new age classic” — a 2002 BMW 325ci. It’s a future collectible… assuming I can keep it running. 😂 And yes, the convertible top is permanently stuck down, so it’s always ready for a sunny day.

Come check out the cars, browse the swap meet, and grab yourself a Drew’s Dog while you’re there!

But honestly, these awards aren’t really about us. They’re about you.

Every time you stopped by the trailer, brought a friend, booked us for your event, voted for us, shared a post, told someone about Drew’s Dogs or simply said, “You’ve got to try these guys” — you helped make this possible.

When we started Drew’s Dogs, we hoped we could build something people would enjoy and be proud to support. What we’ve gotten in return has been so much more than we could have imagined.

We’re incredibly grateful for every customer, every family, every organization and every community that has welcomed us along the way.

Thank you for believing in us, supporting our little food trailer and allowing us to do what we love. We don’t take any of it for granted.

🌭 Let’s talk about Currywurst.

If you’ve never had it, Currywurst is a German street-food classic: a grilled pork sausage, sliced into bite-sized pieces and covered in a sweet, tangy, curry-spiced ketchup. It’s simple, comforting, and seriously addictive.

Currywurst has been a staple of German street food since the late 1940s. The story goes that Herta Heuwer, a food vendor in post-war Berlin, combined ketchup, curry powder and other spices to create the sauce that would become the signature of Currywurst. From there, it became a German institution—and today, millions of servings are enjoyed every year.

And at Drew’s Dogs, we make our own curry ketchup from scratch. No bottled shortcuts—just our own recipe made specifically for our Currywurst.

Happy Cruise Night Thursday! Cars line up at 4pm (no entry fee) and Cruise Night is from 5-8:30pm. Enjoy gourmet sausages & hot dogs from Drew’s Dogs food truck, listen to music while you stroll the lots looking at all the beautiful cars and trucks, check out Joliet Police Departments Bearcat, visit the tent and get a cold one or bottled water and hit the raffle ticket table. If your not a b**r person, visit the bar inside and make your way over to the Game Room to drop your raffle tickets in the ballot boxes of the items you want to win! We have 9 door prizes and 27 raffle items. 7 Trophies will be issued at the end of the Cruise Night ☺️. Make sure you don’t miss the Joliet Police Pipes & Drums at 7:30pm!
