To our amazing green well Family:

This past year and a half has been an incredible adventure, and we have been so fortunate to share it with each of you. While creating the spirit and space of green well was our destiny, we have learned that continuing with the cafe as our life's work is not. It is with many emotions that we would like to let you know that tomorrow will be the last day 44 Crown Street is open as green well Organic Tea & Coffee. We are happy to announce that our friends Tom and Terry will be reemerging in the space next week as Cedarhurst Cafe. Please support them, as we will, in this exciting chapter in their journey.

For 657 days we have asked 141,900 visitors to the cafe to write down what they are grateful for. Looking back on our time, we can sum up our "Happy Thought" in one word: Everything.

Tomorrow in the Ninth Square is ! Some of the best light artists in in New England will gather to display their work on buildings, in windows and on sidewalks!

The Town Green District lights up the Historic 9th Square’s on Friday, October 4, with Illuminate On9. This month’s first Friday event is a prelude to LAMP (Light Artists Making Places), and a celebration of Artspace New Haven’s 16th City-Wide Open Studios.
