I don't know why some people haven't moseyed on over to El-Canelo Mexican Restaurant & Bar and given DJ Trivia & DJ Bingo of Lawrence and Beaver Counties a shot on Thursday night - it's free to play, after all! Is it because the questions are ridiculously hard or the competition is just too darn fierce? Guess you'll never know unless you take a chance. Their dedication and support have made a lasting impact. We are also grateful to the numerous donors who supported our family, and the entire team at El-Canelo Mexican Restaurant & Bar appreciates your generosity. We will be picking up Santos tomorrow at 1 and will broadcast the drawings live on Facebook. Special thanks to my family for their assistance during the event. Today holds immense promise for Santos as our community comes together to celebrate and show support, and I'm honored to thank each of you for your kindness and generosity, which has been instrumental in making this event truly unforgettable; though my attempt to tag everyone in a post didn't go through, I want to express my deepest gratitude to every single person involved, and I'm looking forward to sharing this extraordinary experience with all of you. This is just the start of the incredible team of people and groups who joined forces to make this event truly epic. I'm super stoked to give a huge thanks to each and every single one of you. I'll be adding more faces tomorrow, but it's Taco Tuesday and I've already had my fill, so I'll wrap it up for today. Can't wait to catch up with everyone at the Santos benefit on Saturday the 13th from 1-6 here at 3208 Wilmington Road. When someone asks why i love living in New Castle.... This is why... NCPride..

On another note. We will be having a Chinese Auction. Tickets will start being sold on Friday. That gives everyone 2 days to be a part of a heartfilled event. Baskets, gift cards, and any type of donate can be dropped off at El-Canelo... Thank you to everyone who took the time to read, share, or like this post.

Community Benefit Carnival 🎪

We are hosting a Carnival to benefit one of our beloved cooks who is currently fighting stage four tounge cancer. He is currently at home with a tracheostomy and feeding tube, and will soon begin radiation treatments. Every single dollar raised from this event will go directly to support him during this incredibly difficult time.

The event will feature food, games, prizes, and a Chinese Auction 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm!

How You Can Help:

We are actively seeking donations for gift baskets and gift cards, as well as volunteers to help out. If you would like to contribute or support in any way, please reach out to Antonio Porras (El-Canelo Mexican Restaurant) on Facebook, or feel free to stop by the store anytime.

We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support we have received so far, and we cannot wait to see everyone on June 13th at 3208 Wilmington Road! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Many people have been asking for the details for the fund-raising. It will be June 13th from 1pm until 5pm. Food, games, prizes, vendors, and a Chinese Auction. Take a chance at dunking your favorite El-Canelo employee in the dunk booth. Alcohol will be available only for inside the restaurant. If you would like to donate a basket, gift card, check, or cash. Stop into El-Canelo between the hours of open to close, or message one of us, and we will gladly pick it up. So many people have been reaching out how to help. And we greatly appreciate it...
