GoodTaste! Pittsburgh and Phipps Conservatory are excited to welcome M&P Coney Island to Hometown Homegrown.

Since 1923, MP Coney Island has been serving up a taste of New Castle history! Founded by Greek immigrants John Mitsos and George Papazekos, the family-owned business helped put New Castle on the map as the “Hot Dog Capital of the World.”

More than 100 years later, the Mitsos family continues the tradition with locations in Hermitage, Shenango Township, Erie, and Canonsburg, plus their signature chili sold throughout the region.
