Dinner To Donate We host intimate dinners in a private home to build community and raise money for local charities. As guests gather, an appetizer is served buffet style.

Dinner to Donate grew out of my love of formal entertaining and my desire to give back to my community. Periodically - hopefully monthly - on a Friday evening, everyone is invited to join use for a five course meal. Then you are seated in groups from six to 12 for a formal dinner service. Typically a salad is followed by a palate cleanser, then an entree with sides and a dessert. I will ask you a

little about yourself when you sign up. This helps me create a seating arrangement that everyone can enjoy. Comments from previous guests:

"It is as good as any five start restaurant." It's not quite all that but we try! "You can have an actual conversation, unlike most restaurants." That's the advantage of it being a private home. "The people are great." A personal touch in the seating makes all the difference. Everyone is welcome! Reserve your spot today!

These are the planned dates for the rest of the year: 9/18, 10/16, 11/13, and 12/11. Menus will be published a few weeks in advance and that is when reservations will open.

Dinner to Donate is returning for the rest of 2026!

After a spring and summer hiatus for family and travel. I’ve set a schedule for the rest of the year. The first one is soon! August 14th. Menu below. As always, email me at [email protected] to reserve your spot.

This is a repeat menu. One that got rave reviews last August. There will be no outside seating for this dinner. Therefore, I’ve had to limit the number of seats to 16.

Unfortunately due to a family commitment and scheduling issue I have to cancel the dinner on April 17th.

It was disappointing that we didn't have enough folks sign up for the dinner on October 24th.

I was so excited to get the menu out I missed a typo! We'll be having Shrimp Ceviche. For those of you who think "raw shrimp", let's have a little lesson. Preparing shrimp with acid "denatures the proteins, causing the shrimp to change color and texture to an opaque, pinkish-white, similar to heat-cooking..." So from a taste and texture standpoint you won't know the difference!

A Dijon mustard vinaigrette brings all the flavors together. If you can't find basmati rice, white long-grain rice is fine.
