Now that we’ve closed the door here at our current location, it’s time to start opening some new ones.

This is the first part of a new journey for 1848 Coffee, and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead.

Starting In September, you’ll find us rolling into the Princeton Club New Berlin with our trailer. We’re incredibly excited to partner with another family-owned New Berlin business!

But this is just STEP ONE.

There’s a lot happening behind the scenes right now, and while we’re not quite ready to share all of it yet, we can promise you this:

1848 Coffee isn’t going anywhere. We’re just getting started.

New places. New opportunities. Same coffee. Same people. Same stubborn refusal to quit.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, followed us, drank an unreasonable amount of our coffee, and stuck with us through all the changes.

We’ll see you in September.

Yup, our last week here is almost up!

Shelves are mostly stocked but you all are clearing them faster than we can stock them that’s for sure 🙏

Today and Saturday we’re here till noon per the usual

Well…. We’re getting down to it! 8 days left here and you all are CRUSHING our coffee, it feels like Christmas around here the last week and we are having trouble keeping up.

We will let you all know in the next week what part of our plans are, we promise!

We will let you know how to get coffee in the SHORT time we’re down for the transition and move.

This has been a crazy last few months, bigger things are coming…..

So after yesterday’s word salad 😂

We have received a million messages…. So let’s clear a few things up.

We already have a new location and have for quite some time, the downtime will only be for a short period.

Moving all the equipment and roaster takes more effort than everyone can realize. Not to mention new inspections and permits.

We will let everyone know about how to order bags of coffee in the meantime in a bit.

There a a lot of pieces to this that have to be done in a certain order.

No need to rush on the gift-cards we are not closing!!!

We promise updates as soon as we can give them. We have been planning this like we said for years and knew this was coming.

All that being said we have to be at about 9 different places tomorrow Monday the 3rd and will be closed. Tuesday thru Saturday will be normal hours.

Unfortunately, as a business we have had to make the decision to not renew our lease at this location when it expires on August 31st.

Our last day serving coffee here will be Saturday Aug 15th.

We have been preparing for this honesty for years and already have plans in place for what comes next. However, we need to close temporarily while we shut down this location first. You won’t be without us for long, we promise. And on the bright side…

…we’re NOT leaving New Berlin!

Even though this decision comes with a temporary disruption, we honestly believe that it is what will be best for our business.

Give us a couple of weeks to get things in order and we will let you know where you will see us popping up.

All that being said, hours around here will probably be a little bit off this month. There are things that we will need to close for and appreciate your patience and understanding.

Thank you for five wonderful years at this location! And thank you to everyone that has stuck with us from the days in the trailer and our first shop too! We know you all will come along with us to see what’s next!
