Memorial Day weekend is not about BBQs, parties, sales, or an extra day off.

It is about the men and women who gave their lives in service to this country. The ones who never made it home. The empty seats at tables. The families who still carry that ache, long after the flags are folded and the ceremonies end.

This weekend is meant to hold space for them. To remember their names, their sacrifice, and the lives they gave up so others could keep living theirs.

That is the heart of Memorial Day.

Maiden voyage for Baddie 1, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start than the KVMR Celtic Festival. Grateful beyond words for this step, this community, and this beautiful place we are so thankful to call home.

Thank you to KVMR staff and volunteers for keeping independent, listener-supported radio alive.

Extra love to these two sweet little friends under our A-frame, just being kids. A small, perfect reminder of why we love what we do. Life is beautiful. ❤️

And close to the heart, serving alongside for Bicycle Day, and at Amplify, an LGBTQ+ youth event that’s all about lifting voices and creating space.
