During the 2003 Parade of the Hills, Miki Brooks founded FullBrooks Cafe in the historic lobby of the Dew Hotel. In 2013, after 10 years, she passed the cafe along to Jennifer Abbott and Dan Jones. Now, on the cafe's 23rd birthday, during the 76th annual Parade of the Hills, we announce the newest stewards of FullBrooks Cafe, Dereck and Zach Bowens, with new GM Sarah Hunter. We are all so excited to see FullBrooks grow on into a new chapter. Thank you so much to everyone who has been a part of our amazing community, and stay tuned for what's next!

FullBrooks will be open all week for Nelsonville Parade of the Hills, with some extended hours this weekend for the festivities. Stop on in and say Hi! We've got some big news coming this week, so stay tuned, and we'll see everyone at the Parade!

Heads Up, Pawpaw People - 2026 Ohio Pawpaw Festival Is Moving!

We are relocating to the Snow Fork Event Center in Nelsonville, Ohio. Please be patient as we navigate this new chapter, and watch for regular updates on social media in the upcoming months. We can’t wait to see you September 18-20, 2026!

We are open again with our regular hours! Thank you to the Nelsonville Division of Fire for helping keep everyone safe, and thank you to everyone in the community for all the support. Many great people reached out to us directly, and we cant thank you enough! We had a short interruption, and we'll roll with it, but The Mine has a much longer fight ahead. If you're able, help them how you can, and hopefully they'll be able to rebuild soon!

Due to the structural instability at The Mine Tavern, FullBrooks Cafe will remain closed until further notice. The Dew House has been evacuated, and will remain so while a plan is determined to safely deal with the situation. Thank you to everyone in our community who is rallying to help! Hopefully all involved get some good news this week, and we see you soon!
