ATTENTION ALLCHILLAKILL FAMILY
We just found out news that is both shocking and heartbreaking to us. The hardware store where we have built Allchillakill is being sold, and well deserve retirement, with that decision our lease has been terminated. That means our last day open in Neenah will be October 26th. We never wanted it to end this way, but sometimes small businesses don’t get to choose and that’s the reality we now face.
We are sad because we poured everything into this place the long mornings, the late nights, the countless churros and chilaquiles served with love. But we are also proud, because of what we built together with you.
From day one, our mission was bigger than food. We wanted to create something that gave back and because of you, we were able to donate to local high schools, middle schools, and nonprofit organizations. We wanted kids to see that dreams are possible, and that you don’t have to settle for being just another worker at a chain or 9 to 5 job . You can create, you can build, and you can inspire others to believe.
Along the way, we have been blessed with moments of recognition, becoming one of the most televised ice cream shops in Wisconsin, welcoming Governor Tony Evers into our shop, and now being selected to represent Wisconsin in Washington, D.C. this October to meet the Senators and Local leaders where we will share the real challenges small businesses face and fight for better opportunities for entrepreneurs like us. None of that happened because of luck. It happened because of you the people who believed in us, supported us, and kept showing up.
This is not the ending we hoped for, but it is not the end of our story. You can still book us for events, and you can still visit us at Frio Mexican Treats in Appleton.
We want to take this moment to thank everyone our incredible employees who gave their all, our families who stood by us, and our loyal customers who became friends. You know who you are. If you have a memory of Allchillakill, please share it with us because those memories are the reminder of why we do what we do.
We might be forced to close these doors, but the spirit of Allchillakill lives on. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being part of this journey.
