The sky turned black on Monday in Menasha. We quickly lost power..neighbors trees were hitting our windows. The grandbabies learned we had a basement and that my grandson loves flashlights. When we came upstairs we really couldn't believe the damage with most trees no longer standing, and those still standing no longer having leaves. Within a few hours all of the neighbors had assembled and together they cleared each other’s yards. And we were blessed - Our houses were all still standing. As the days went on Facebook became my new addiction - I couldn't stop watching the videos of the devastation that had just occurred. Despite houses and businesses being destroyed, everyone in the community and surrounding communities did not hesitate to lend a helping hand - including those with no house or work to return to. Post after post of humans being kind. The community rallied like nothing I have seen before. We at the Hive would like to extend an incredibly big and heartfelt thank you for helping us raise $5842.
Yesterdays totals were-
46 mules for $276
18 Broccoli bites for $72
50/50 raffle $357 to Carrie and she donated it all back leaving it at $714!
Cash donations were $93.
We are proud to be a part of a community thats cares so deeply for its members. We are Community Strong!!

Menasha hits hard for all of us. For the staff members that have roots there or are currently living there it hits a little harder. The devastation to our city is shocking and they’ll need everyone’s help.
With the city of Menasha in mind, we will be raising funds to help out our neighbors.
$6 Menasha Mule - the Blueberry Bluejay with the full $6 dollars being donated with every sale
Appetizer of the day- ask which app is featured each day and $4 from every sale will be donated! Today, Wednesday 7/29 is cheese curds! Buy an order of curds and $4 will be directly donated.
50/50 raffles at 7pm sharp..no need to be present ..the next 5 days. Wednesday through Sunday.
This money from the raffles,appetizers, and mules will go directly to Christ The Rock Church which has currently opened their doors to the community who don’t have power, water, or a place to live while they rebuild. We will be purchasing non-perishables, gift cards, and any other necessities on 8/5 to drop off at Christ The Rock.
We will also be accepting monetary or non perishable donations up until 8/4 to drop off. Most needed things per CTR: peanut butter, jelly, canned chicken or tuna, fruit cups, and protein bars.
We hope you come and visit us this week, drink a Menasha Mule or buy some raffle tickets so that we can all show up for our neighbors of Menasha.
