🦞 It’s a little different…
We’ve been boiling crawfish for a lifetime, and the only seasoning we put in our boil water is our own dry Seafood Boil. Ask anybody who has eaten at one of our boils. It is absolutely delicious and one of the easiest ways to get the flavor right, especially if you’re new to boiling seafood.
The blend combines salt, red pepper, garlic, crab spice, paprika, black pepper, and lemon oil. Everything is already balanced, so you aren’t building a mixture from scratch.
Here are the three options:
🧂 ORIGINAL
Our classic family recipe and the best starting point for most people. It balances salt, spice, garlic, and citrus without overpowering the seafood.
🔥 EXTRA SPICY
The same bold Louisiana flavor with the heat turned up. This is for anyone who believes a proper crawfish boil should make you sweat a little.
🚫 NO MSG
Our dry Seafood Boil without added MSG. You still get the red pepper, garlic, paprika, black pepper, crab spice, and lemon flavor that makes a Louisiana boil taste right.
Dump it directly into your seafood boil to season the water. We use it for every crawfish boil we do, and it is the only seasoning we put into the boil pot. We’ve been doing this for a lifetime, and we swear by it. It also makes the process easier, especially for beginners.
If you use our crawfish boil method, this seasoning is also perfect for dusting after the crawfish come out of the pot. A common complaint is that dusted crawfish can get too salty, which is true when the seasoning contains too much salt. We intentionally created ours with more spice, the right amount of salt for dusting, and a fine mixture that does not clump when applied properly.
One of the newer ways we use it is in the butter for crawfish dip. Not everybody likes to dip their crawfish, but if you love butter with yours, add a little Seafood Boil to the melted butter. You will be blown away by how much flavor it adds.
Use it in the boil water, dust it over the finished crawfish, or mix it into your dipping butter. One seasoning, three very good ways to use it.
