I’m going on vacation this week. Don’t worry, Kaitlynn will be holding it down at the shop!
Honestly, this feels like a huge deal. Mallory and I haven’t taken a vacation in about a year, which is about how long the shop has been open.
There were some early days when I genuinely wondered if we’d ever take a vacation again… We knew opening a specialty coffee shop in Bordeaux might take some time to catch on, but the support y’all have shown us has been incredible. Espresso Bar has grown into a really special neighborhood spot, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
No investors, no startup money from loans, friends, or family. Just Mallory and me, scraping it together and hoping this thing keeps growing.
Anyway, just wanted to say thank you, and to tip Kaitlynn well for holding down the fort!
