Serving simple and traditional Southern fare made with fresh ingredients from our own Garden at Glen Leven, each visit to Capitol Grille is an experience to be savored. Adjacent to Capitol Grille, our world-famous Oak Bar lives up to its notorious past, one t

hat began during the onset of Tennessee prohibition. Taste the bar's bourbon library, boasting one of the largest collection of bourbons in Nashville with 150+ bottles. Both our restaurant and bar have been locally and nationally awarded as Nashville’s best! Relaxed, low key, and loved by Nashvillians "in the know", the Capitol Grille in Nashville's Hermitage Hotel is inspired by cultural sustainability. That is, preserving the past while using techniques of the future. Our commitment to serving local food goes beyond just sourcing local. Many of our ingredients used in the restaurant are planted grown and harvested by our staff at Glen Leven Farm, where our partnership in land conservation with the Land Trust for Tennessee affords us the opportunity to harvest our own garden. Our menu shifts with the seasons based on what is fresh and best available, paying homage to classic, southern cuisine.
