44 years ago The Bluebird Cafe opened in the very space it stands today! Our annual celebration with The Jay Patten Band remains a special tradition for us and takes us back to where it all began. Clint Black worked his way from humble Texas roots to becoming one of country music’s most influential and fiercely independent artists. His exhibit at the County Music Hall of Fame and Museum “The Hard Way on Purpose” is now open through August 1st. Always determined to write and perform his own songs, we are excited to celebrate such a pioneering songwriter and dear friend of The Bluebird. Experience the exhibition this summer with museum admission!
