COMTÉ IS BACK! And not just any Comté…

Our beautiful 18-month-aged Comté AOP has finally returned to BOTH Little Gourmand locations! 🎉

Made in the Jura mountains of France from raw cow’s milk, this exceptional cheese is aged for a full 18 months, allowing it to develop an incredibly rich and complex flavor.

✨ Beautifully nutty, with delicate fruity notes
✨ Firm yet smooth, with tiny crunchy crystals that develop during aging
✨ A true French classic, made using centuries-old cheesemaking traditions

Whether you enjoy it on a cheese board, with a crusty baguette, or simply by itself (the French way!), Comté is always a good idea!

Our delicious Ossau-Iraty, a traditional sheep’s milk cheese from the French Basque Country, is also available at both stores!

🇫🇷 A little piece of French comedy is coming to Nashville! And we couldn’t be more excited! 🇫🇷🎤
On December 2nd, French comedian Kev Adams will be performing at Zanies Comedy Club, right here in Nashville. And here’s the best part: the entire show will be in ENGLISH! 🇺🇸

For those of you who don’t know Kev Adams, he is a HUGE star in France. One of the country’s most recognizable comedians, he’s sold millions of tickets to his stand-up shows, starred in blockbuster French movies, appeared on television for years, and even has his own Netflix comedy special.

In France, he fills enormous theaters. He’s a household name. People recognize him everywhere.

And yet, here in America, he’s doing something I find incredibly courageous: starting almost from scratch.

Imagine being at the top of your profession in your home country, then deciding to challenge yourself in a completely different language, with a different culture, a different sense of humor, and an audience that largely has no idea who you are.

That takes talent, determination, humility, and a LOT of courage. ❤️

He even took his chances on America’s Got Talent earlier this year, earning a standing ovation and four yeses from the judges!

As French people who have built a life and a business in America, we have so much admiration for anyone willing to step outside their comfort zone and take on a challenge like this.

Eric and I will absolutely be there on December 2nd, cheering him on and applauding his American adventure! 👏🇫🇷

And we hope to see plenty of familiar faces in the audience, French or American!

These Best of Nashville awards are a beautiful recognition of the hard work, passion and dedication of our entire Little Gourmand team.

I couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them! ❤️

Honestly, we’re a little speechless.

Little Gourmand has officially been named Best Dessert AND Best Taste of France in Nashville, and our heart is very, very full. ❤️

When we started this little French adventure in Nashville, we could never have imagined where it would take us. There have been very early mornings, very late nights, plenty of doubts, a few tears, a lot of butter 😅… and an incredible amount of hard work.

Through all of it, we have tried to stay true to who we are: a small, independent French business making things with care, sharing the food, products and traditions we grew up with, and bringing a little piece of France to Nashville.

And perhaps that is why Best Taste of France touches us so deeply.

France is where we come from. It is part of our identity, our memories, our recipes and the way we think about food. To be recognized for bringing an authentic taste of our home to the city that has become our home is incredibly special. 🇫🇷❤️

And Best Dessert… well, that one makes us pretty emotional too.

Because these awards came from you.

You — our customers who come back week after week. The ones who bring friends and family through our doors. Who tell someone about a pastry you loved. Who trust us with your birthdays, celebrations and weekend desserts. Who have watched Little Gourmand grow over the years and continued to support us along the way.

And these awards belong just as much to our team.

To the people in our kitchen who arrive when most of Nashville is still asleep. Who bake, pipe, glaze, decorate, cook and start all over again the next morning.
