Aunt Carrie's has been family owned and operated since 1920. For 100 years we have been serving up traditional, fresh & local Rhode Island seafood.

We're home of the Rhode Island Shore Dinner and legend has it Aunt Carrie herself invented the clam cake! Our famous homemade pies and breads are baked daily! Recently we opened Aunt Carrie's Ice Cream Shoppe, directly located across the street, which offers up our outrageous signature sundaes such as 'The Dirty Fisherman' and 'The Block Island Sunrise', as well as our delicious Pie Frappes.

Dear Friends: As our season comes to a close, we want to take a moment to thank you for your support and patronage. It has been our honor to welcome you to our restaurant, and we are so grateful to have shared another wonderful season with this community.

We also want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated young staff—their hard work, care, and commitment make everything we do possible.

It’s our last weekend of the season. Stop by the Ice Cream Shop with a friend to say goodbye to summer with a buy one get 1 free. Because ice cream is always better with friends! 🍦

Is the summer season getting shorter as the years move forward or is it just us?

With a big majority of our staff this season being out of state residents or heading back to school earlier- we will be needing to move to Take Out Window only beginning Monday, August 18th for the remainder of the season. Customers will be able to take their meals to sit inside our dining room. Beer & Wine and dessert service will be available.

After Labor Day we will be open for the month of September Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Here’s to hoping to lots of September beach days still ahead of us!
