Aloha Bad Ass fam! Just a quick update that with the Bad Ass family growing Bad Ass is looking to have all the Florida locations under one handle on Instagram: . Any new updates from us can be found over there.

Also, as some of you are already aware, there’s a new Bad Ass that has opened up relatively close to our location. This is under the Bad Ass umbrella but not under the same ownership. We hope you check them out but we also hope to see you supporting your favorite local 3rd Street Bad Ass that’s been pumping out your favorites for 18 years with the same staff you can rely on.

Today is International Shark Awareness Day. In Polynesian culture, sharks are one of the favorite forms that ‘aumakua (ancestors) choose to appear to man. They represent protection, guidance and strength as well as ferocity. Unfortunately, the worldwide demand for shark-fin soup, shark-tooth medallions, and a false sense of security on beaches everywhere, all combine to leave sharks persecuted and endangered, with millions of them being killed each year. We must respect and protect these badass creatures of the sea or risk losing them and the balance in our oceans. Mahalo!
