Just a reminder that the cafe will be closing early on Saturday, August 1st for the 6th Annual Trickey Pond BBQ Mixer & Potluck. Join us down at the Rec Hall at 6pm to celebrate Loon's Haven Family Campground 65th anniversary! We will be bringing down our wood-fired brick oven pizza to share, and all are invited.

We are looking for a friendly Kitchen Helper and Delivery driver for the cafe.

This position is Friday and Saturdays from 4pm-8:30pm. We are open to 14-years of age or over! We do deliveries of food orders right to peoples campsites with an electric golf cart.

The Lazy Loon Cafe will open at 1pm today until 8pm! There will be NO PIZZA today for the safety of our staff.

Due to the extremely dangerous temperatures on Thursday we will not be opening the cafe for the safety of our staff. Please stay hydrated! See you Friday!

The extreme risk for extreme heat as increased dramatically. It doesn’t get worse than this forecast for Thursday in Maine. No one will be cooling off at the beaches with a land breeze at the southern coast and Midcoast.

The heat index will be more than 110 degrees.

The temp will be around 100 and the dew point will make a run for 80. Extremely rare for northern New England.

This is far from typical Summer in the north and is even hotter than typical Florida weather.
