One of our favorite family-friendly spots on Nantucket, Surfside Beach is just a short shuttle ride from The Nantucket Inn. Grab lunch to go from the Nobadeer Cafe, pack it in one of our coolers, hop on the shuttle, and spend the day enjoying Nantucket’s famous South Shore beach.

Known for its wide sandy shoreline and rolling surf over offshore sandbars, Surfside is a favorite destination for both families and young adults. The waves make it a great spot for swimming, boogie boarding and surfing! The expansive beach offers plenty of room to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze.
