PSA: Here is a warning to go along with our 'reservations' conversation... We DO NOT have a website!! The one pictured here is NOT us! I did a search of our restaurant name, and there was a plethora of sites bearing our name, or giving the impression that they are connected with us. They are not. Recently, we had a guest come in for their reservation claiming they had a confirmation from us. Upon inspection of the confirmation they received, we could tell it was not from us because of both the wording and the fact it did not even mention the restaurant name. Another guest called and said they tried to book a reservation "on our website", but it asked for their credit card information, so they thought better of it. Please be aware, and tell your friends! We do not want to see any of our current or future guests getting scammed by these sites. Please just call, or text, us directly at the restaurant to make a reservation, or if you have any other inquiries. (208)996-9464

Let’s talk reservations! We are not reservation ONLY. If you walk-in without a reservation, and we have space to seat you, we absolutely will. However, because our space is small, and we never know how busy we are going to be, we highly recommend you make a reservation. As you can imagine, our busiest dining time is from approximately 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm, so whenever possible, we encourage early diners. Now, onto HOW to make a reservation…old school…just pick up the phone and give us a call, or shoot us a text message, and we will get a reservation set for you. (208) 996-9464 We all love technology, and there are a multitude of avenues that can be used, but for us we prefer the direct human contact approach. Texting is as ‘techie’ as we want to be. If you have ever dined with us, you will get that this approach fits right in with our dining concept.

Question of the day: Why do we close early when our hours say we are open until 9:00?

The answer to that is a financial one. We are a small business. Our guests have a knack for all arriving at the same time, and all leaving at the same time. If our dining room is empty at 8:00, with no incoming reservations on the books, then we will begin to pre-close. Once we hit approximately 8:30, and no guests have arrived and the dining room is still empty, then we will make the call to close. There is no longevity in this business if the cost of labor (payroll) outpaces net sales. We need the dishwashers and the servers and the cooks and the bartenders to help provide the best quality service for when guests come in, yet it's not a good business practice to pay them to stand around waiting for the potential diner. That is one of the reasons we highly recommend reservations...that way we know you're coming, and will be there to serve you!

We hate having to close early, so help us out and tell your friends, family, and neighbors about us. We open at 4:00 Tuesday - Friday, and 5:00 on Saturday, for those who like to dine early. And we are open until 9:00 pm Tuesday - Saturday for those of you who want to dine on the patio in the coolness of the evening.

Yes! Our space is ‘cold’. Yes! We have the thermostat set at 74*. When it gets into the teens and 20s overnight, it’s very difficult for the furnace to keep our space at temp. Our ceilings are high and we have no breezeway into our space. No! I cannot turn the thermostat up to 80* unless you want to pitch in for the gas bill. Yes! It does get colder every time someone opens the door. No! I will not build on a breezeway because we love our patio in the summertime. No! If you were the last person to make a reservation for today, I cannot move you further away from the door. In the winter, we do our very best to seat those tables last. No! I will not give away a table whose party made a reservation a week before you. We have pashminas/shawls available for use if you need one, just ask. Please come prepared for a space that is cooler than your home. Thank you so much for your understanding and support.

We will also be closed on Christmas Eve 12/24/24 and Christmas Day 12/25/24, so our team can spend time with their friends and loved ones.

We will be OPEN for regular business hours on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

We have made an executive decision! (Thursday, October 31st...Halloween ). As we have had zero requests for reservations this evening, which literally never happens, we are going to close for tonight. Instead of standing around looking at each other in the hopes folks will come in to dine, we are giving our team (aka teens) the night off to enjoy festivities with friends. Thank you for your understanding.

WE ARE STILL OPEN!! The plaza where our restaurant is located is getting a facelift. As a result, they needed to take down all our business signs, however, all the businesses in the plaza are still open, and there is still plenty of parking. Please note, as a reminder, we are on vacation this week 9/24-9/28, but will reopen with regular business hours on Tuesday, 10/1.
