In 2017, Jeff and Lisa Galloway had a dream: to bring a small-town steakhouse to their hometown of Myrtle. With no restaurant experience, they took a leap of faith, renovated a building that had sat empty for years, and opened Smokehouse.
From day one, the community response was overwhelming. We welcomed friends, neighbors, and countless travelers who came near and far for our salad bar, those homemade yeast rolls with honey butter, and of course, our oversized steaks.
Fast forward 8 wonderful years, and Jeff and Lisa are now enjoying their grandkids and feel it’s time to pass the torch. After being on the market for a while, Smokehouse has officially sold, and we will soon hand over the reins to its new owners.
While their vision may be different from Smokehouse, we cannot wait to support them and continue seeing all of you at their tables.
