Ed Piotrowski WPDE, thank you for coming in and dining with us. We are deeply sorry for your loss. We are going to miss seeing your beautiful Mom and her smile. Grateful we hung your family picture on the wall a few years ago ❤️

Last night, we honored Mom by doing two of her favorite things, having sushi at King Kong Sushi and enjoying a margarita. She absolutely loved both.

I won’t lie…I dread all of the “firsts” without Mom. Sitting there at dinner tonight without her was hard. I imagine the holidays will be even more difficult. Right now, I’m not looking forward to any of those moments. I’m simply trying to take it one day at a time and keep it together.

I’m so thankful for God’s Word, which continues to carry me through.

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” - Matthew 5:4

Dad, Mike, and Terry are doing okay. Like me, they each have their moments. Grief truly comes in waves. Thank God we have each other to lean on during this difficult time.

The next three days will be a whirlwind of emotions. Later this morning, I’ll have surgery on my left hand to have a pin placed in my broken bone. Friday evening is Mom’s visitation, and Saturday we’ll celebrate her beautiful life at her funeral.

If you would, please keep our family in your prayers. We appreciate every prayer, every kind word, and every act of love you’ve shown us. They mean more than you’ll ever know.
