This wonderful gentleman celebrated his 95th birthday with us and was surprised with a pay it forward meal! 🥹🎉 We LOVE getting to be a part of moments like this.

💙 Another special Pay It Forward moment at Cozy’s! 💙

This one felt extra special. These sweet customers were visiting from out of town, and after their meal was paid forward, we found out it was her birthday too! 🥹🎉 We had no idea!

They were truly some of the sweetest people, and it made us so happy that a little unexpected kindness found them on such a special day.

Happy Birthday from all of us at Cozy Corner Cafe! 🥳💙 And as always, a huge thank you to the amazing people in our community who keep these Pay It Forward moments going. You never know whose day you might make! ❤️

❤️ A little update

We had a small kitchen fire today that started by our grill. It was definitely a scary moment, but thankfully everyone is okay, and we are so grateful for that!

Our staff was absolutely amazing and acted incredibly fast. They have already been working hard cleaning, sanitizing, and getting everything ready so we can OPEN TOMORROW from 7AM–11AM as planned! ☕️🍳

We also want to reassure everyone that we are taking every sanitary precaution necessary. No food, dishes, plates, utensils, or anything else that was exposed during the process of putting out the fire will be used. Everything is being thoroughly cleaned and handled properly before we reopen.

We are so sorry to all of our customers who were here eating and had to evacuate so quickly. Thank you so much for being understanding during such an unexpected situation.

Also thank you to the Fruitport Fire Department for responding and helping us, and a special thank you to the owner of Hooligans who came back to help us as well. ❤️ We truly appreciate you!

And lastly, we couldn’t be more thankful for our amazing staff. They jumped into action when it mattered most and are continuing to work hard to make sure Cozy’s is ready for everyone tomorrow.

We’ll see you tomorrow, 7AM–11AM! ❤️

Just a heads up that Cozy Corner Cafe will be closing early at 11:00 AM this Monday for Labor Day!

Come see us for breakfast before we close, and then we’ll be giving our hardworking crew some time to enjoy the holiday with their families. ❤️🤍💙
