What? Did you think we had given up on this dream? Not a chance! We've been doing repairs in the kitchen for the last couple of weeks (well, not "us", but some awesome folks who actually know what they're doing). We had a bad spot in the ceiling caused when a tree limb fell and poked a hole in the roof. I didn't find it quick enough so a ceiling issue turned into a wall issue then morphed into a floor issue. But I guess it wasn't for nothing, because while repairing the wall, of course we found termite damage that doubles the cost of the original repair lol. At this point you just have to laugh it off and start saving up for the next little disaster. This minor delayed opening 🙄 is allowing our son Logan to gain more experience and knowledge in his position as one of the head chefs over at the casino, which will no doubt come in handy when he's the general manager at our restaurant. We're hoping and praying for an opening late this year. We'd really appreciate it if a few of you could maybe cross your fingers as well. 😀
