🍔 Burger Boy Update! 🍔

We know, we know… y’all are ready for a burger, and trust us, we are MORE than ready to start making them again! 😂

We just wanted to give everyone a little update and reassure you that we are still here, still working, and still doing everything we can to get those doors open!

Is this process taking longer than we anticipated? ABSOLUTELY. Are we frustrated too? You bet your sweet behind we are! 🤣

But here's the thing… great things take time, and we would much rather take the time to do things right than rush through something just to get it done.

There is a whole lot more that goes into opening a restaurant than just throwing some burgers on a grill. Believe me, we wish it were that simple!

We are working diligently behind the scenes, tackling one thing at a time, and making progress even when it might not look like much from the outside.

We know everyone is anxious, and we appreciate that more than you realize. We just ask that y'all hang in there with us a little longer. ❤️

We haven't worked this hard, fought this many battles, and come this far just to give up now!

Thank you for your patience, your encouragement, and for continuing to believe in Burger Boy. We promise nobody wants those doors open more than we do!

Burger Boy update: We promise we’re opening a restaurant, not filming an episode of Restaurant Rescue: Demolition Edition. 😂🍔

Some days it feels like we take two steps forward and immediately find something else hiding behind a wall saying, “Surprise! Spend more money!” 😂

But progress IS happening. We’re getting closer, things are being repaired and replaced the right way, and one by one we’re checking things off the list.

We’ve said from the beginning that this project has turned out to be much bigger — and much more expensive — than we ever anticipated. Just to put some perspective on it, the hood installation alone is $11,000. 😳 And unfortunately, that’s just one piece of the puzzle.

A lot of you have asked if our GoFundMe is still open, and it absolutely is. There is zero pressure to donate, but if you’d like to help us get across this very expensive finish line, every contribution truly does go toward getting Burger Boy back open. Sharing the fundraiser helps us tremendously too. ❤️

🍔 BURGER BOY UPDATE 🍔
We know everyone is wondering, “When are y’all opening?!” Trust us… we’re asking ourselves the same thing. 😂
This process has taken a lot longer than we originally expected, but we ARE making progress!
Our new side door is officially installed 🙌
The AC is almost finished ❄️
And probably one of the biggest pieces of the puzzle — our commercial hood installation is officially SCHEDULED! 🎉
Once those big projects are wrapped up, we still have walls to paint, floors to finish, equipment to get into place, and about 9,742 little things that somehow come with opening a restaurant. 😅
We had hoped to be much further along by now, but renovating has definitely taught us that nothing happens as quickly—or as simply—as you think it will. Every time we check something off the list, there seems to be another surprise waiting behind it.
But we're getting there. ❤️
We appreciate everyone who continues to ask about us, encourage us, and patiently wait for Burger Boy to come back. We miss seeing all of you just as much as you miss those burgers!

Progress update! 🔨🍔

We may be moving a little slower than we’d like, but we ARE moving!

❄️ The AC is FINALLY fixed! 🙌
💡 The new LED lighting is installed!
🚪 Two new exterior doors are being installed within the next week — which means that lovely “hole in the wall” feature will officially be a thing of the past. 😂

Little by little, this place is coming together and starting to feel more like Burger Boy every day.

It’s slow going, but it’s GOING, and right now, we’ll take every bit of progress we can get! ❤️

We still have plenty left to tackle, and for those who have asked how they can help, our GoFundMe is still up and running. Every donation helps us chip away at the repairs, equipment, and all those not-so-little expenses that come with getting these doors open. 💨 Mold remediation is underway. 📦 Supplies are starting to arrive.

It's not much to look at yet... unless you're the type of person who sees potential where everyone else sees concrete dust. 😊

The last few days have been full of demo, cleaning, and making plans. Every wall we remove and every mess we clean up gets us one step closer to bringing Burger Boy back home.

We knew this location wasn't going to be move-in ready, but we also knew it was worth the work.

The day we've been waiting for is finally here...

We are beyond excited to officially announce that Burger Boy has a new home!

This has been one of the most challenging journeys we've ever been through. There were moments when we didn't know what the future would hold, but thanks to the incredible support from this community, we never gave up.

To everyone who donated, shared our posts, sent encouraging messages, prayed for us, or simply believed in us—thank you. You helped keep our dream alive.

Now the real work begins. We have a lot to accomplish before we can open our doors. There will be cleaning, renovations, inspections, equipment to install, repairs to make, and countless hours of hard work to transform this space into the Burger Boy you've come to know and love.

Many of you have asked if our GoFundMe is still active. The answer is yes. Every donation continues to go directly toward getting Burger Boy back open—helping with equipment, repairs, and the countless expenses that come with bringing a restaurant back to life. Alright, y'all... 😂

The Burger Boy FBI has been working overtime, and we've seen just about every rumor imaginable.

Yes, we know people are talking. No, we aren't ready to announce anything yet.
These things take time, and we're trying to make sure we make the right decision, not the fastest one. We'd rather keep you waiting a little longer than announce something before the ink is dry or before we're 100% sure.

Trust me... if there was something we could tell you, we would. Keeping a secret is honestly exhausting. 🤣

So for now, please don't believe every rumor you hear around town. When there's real news to share, it'll come directly from us—not your cousin's neighbor's hairdresser's uncle's best friend's dog. 😉

We truly appreciate everyone who has been sending us property suggestions and thinking of Burger Boy. It means a lot to know so many people want to help us find our next home.

One thing we'd like everyone to understand is that while we look at every suggestion, purchasing an $800,000 property—or any expensive commercial property—is simply not financially realistic for us right now. Our focus is finding a location that allows us to reopen responsibly and keep Burger Boy around for years to come.

Please know that we are actively exploring our options and working behind the scenes every single day. If and when we have something to announce, you'll hear it directly from us.
