To our Chutneys Family,
It is with extreme sadness that we share the news that Chutneys will be permanently closing, effective July 31st. As many of you may know, our owner, Ayaz Ahmed, recently suffered a major heart attack. This was followed by open heart surgery, a six-week inpatient hospital stay, multiple emergency room visits, and an intensive eight-week rehab program. Due to this major event, our focus has had to shift to supporting him and his health. This decision has been incredibly difficult, but as you know, family has always been the utmost priority for Ayaz, so now it’s time we focus on him. To all of our customers who became family, thank you. Your support means the entire world to us! Ayaz always enjoyed getting to sit down and make personal connections with our regulars. He always enjoyed getting to share our family stories, as well as hearing yours. We hope the memories made at all of your dinners, parties, and catering events will stick around for a lifetime. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you again!
