It’s been 4 days… since I posted that Lil’ Deuce Scoop was hiring. 🍦

A little story about how I decided that an ice cream shop was my future career choice. My daughter and her best friend had worked at Lil’ Deuce Scoop when the first owner announced that she was considering selling. One of the very next days while I was driving the girls to school, her friend announced, “Ms. Lisa, my family and I decided that YOU should buy the ice cream shop!”. 🤯Keep in mind, I had ZERO food service experience and never owned a business.

For a day or so, I thought that was the silliest thing I’d ever heard. By day 2 or 3, I was intrigued and started to seriously consider it. By day 4, I’d got the nerve to discuss it with my family, and (surprisingly) they were extremely supportive. I decided to dive in and give it a try. I’m EVER SO GLAD that I did! I LOVE my job and could not imagine doing anything else! 🥰

It’s been 4 days… Did the idea of getting a part-time job at an ice cream shop sound silly to you? Did it sneak back into your thoughts over the past few days? Are you intrigued? 🤔 Message me and I’ll send you an application. It’s going to be the best job that you never knew you needed!

SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENT! The streak of over 90 degree days🌞 has ended and so has ours of being open 7 days a week. Lil' Deuce Scoop will now be closed on Mondays, but we WILL BE OPEN on Tuesdays (for now). Our days are far too nice to switch to full "fall hours"!!! Catch us SIX days per week... plus we're still here until 10 pm on Fridays & Saturdays.

Legend has it, our ice cream was used as the weight in the nose cone of a rocket. Yes, you read that right. While other desserts were busy melting on Earth, ours was apparently helping with aerospace engineering.
