Ok, one more tonight. Nelson's Alfredo Sauce....in.a medium skillet add a hunk of butter...like a quarter cup, put in 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic and 1 cup ( you might need a bit more...We don't actually measure anything), real whipping cream...must be 40 % fat, and add about 1/2 cup shredded Parm...not the dry stuff you put on your spaghetti, over medium heat let simmer till thickened. Add cooked pasta and toss. Sprinkle with a bit more cheese. Add cooked chicken or shrimp. One more thing, if you want Cajun Alfredo...just add Cajun seasoning to taste!

Mushroom Chicken...dip chicken breast pieces in egg wash, (beaten egg with water) and then into dry parmesan cheese, coating it well. Fry in a bit of hot oil till brown on both sides. Saute mushrooms in butter, add 1 cup brown gravy, ( we used gluten free), stir in a 1/4 cup of cream. Top cooked chicken with shredded mozz cheese, then mushroom sauce and a bit more cheese.

Pina Colada Dipping sauce....1 cup sour cream, 1 cup crushed pineapple with juice, a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes and 1/4 cup shredded coconut....mix and serve!
Our Tarter Sauce.....1 cup kraft mayo, a couple of chopped pickles and pickle juice and Johnnys garlic spread seasoning to taste.

Cranberry Broccoli Salad...fresh broccoli, craisins, sunflower seeds or walnuts and red onion. The dressing is made with kraft mayo. Start with one cup of mayo and add to it 1/4 cup white sugar and 1/4 cup Heinz Apple cider vinegar, whisk to blend and add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes, a dash of cayenne and 1 tsp each of granulated garlic and onion. That's it!

As promised, I will be posting a few of your favorite recipes. Let's start with our Stuffed French Toast....choose a good heavy bread like brioche or thick sourdough. Make a custard of eggs,1/4 cup half and half and some vanilla flavoring. In a separate bowl, beat 8 oz cream cheese with almond flavoring and 1/2 cup of powdered sugar. Spread cheese mixture over both slices of bread, dip in custard, soaking it well and cook on a hot griddle till golden on each side. Serve with warm strawberries or peaches. We use frozen strawberries and just heat them with a bit of powdered sugar. For the fresh peach, just slice and cook over low heat in a bit of butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and serve. That's it! Quick and easy and just right for getting the family to the table for breakfast!
