We are aware of posts circulating online about a recent incident at our Mountain Brook location.
A lot of noise has been made over the last few days. At the heart of this was an unfortunate misunderstanding that resulted from unclear communication from a brick & tin staff member to a guest. brick & tin has communicated directly with the patrons involved and the misunderstanding has been fully resolved. After discussion with the patrons and reviewing footage from that day, we understand their side and why they felt the way they did. We apologize for any fallout this may have caused them. They are long-time regulars and great people we’re proud to have as customers.
Let us make this perfectly clear- we welcome guests from all walks of life at brick & tin. We do not refuse service to any customers on the basis of occupation or anything else.
