We're thrilled to announce that Mazza's Restaurant is an official sponsor of Bruno Massel Racing at the 20th Annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals, taking place June 25-28, 2026 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.

Bruno Massel is a 4x NHRA World Champion 🏆 -- the only driver to win four world titles in the 60-year history of the Comp Eliminator category. He just recorded his 20th NHRA National Event win in 25 Final Round appearances, and he's also the current host of TruckU on Motortrend 📺 and a pit analyst for NHRA on FOX. In short: he's the best in the business.

Qualifying runs begin Thursday, June 25. Eliminations kick off Friday, June 26. 🔥

Mazza's has been a part of the Mount Vernon community since 1939. ❤ We're proud to carry that legacy to the drag strip this summer.

🏁 35 Years Later. Still Inspiring Us Every Day.

This Father's Day weekend marks two important anniversaries for our family.

35 years ago in June of 1991, Mike Mazza captured one of the biggest victories of his racing career, winning the NHRA Spring Nationals in Super Gas on his way to becoming a six-time NHRA National Event Champion.

It is also the day we lost him in 2003.

Whether you knew him from the restaurant, the race track, or simply as a friend, Mike had a way of making a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Many people knew Mike as a racer. Many knew him as a businessman. We were fortunate to know him as a husband, father, mentor, and friend. His passion, work ethic, competitiveness, and commitment to family continue to guide everything we do at Mazza's today. The values he lived by are still at the heart of our family and our business.

Please join us in remembering Mike today and celebrating a life that left a lasting impact on our family, our community, and the sport he loved.
