HI! Couple new pies on the specials board. Here's one. Worlds best bacon, shallots, lil mozz and prov, blueberry whipped ricotta, dabble o'parm. Been a hit the last few days.

Love these sweet mentions of LWB's home base. Mount Vernon is perfectly distanced from Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. Making for an easy get away for both communities, like a little oasis surrounded by beautiful country side. You have Highway 1, Highway 30, Mount Vernon Road, and Springville Road all leading to this lovely town with compared to its size is full of cool little finds. Then you have a ton of ways to get to town via gravel, really show casing the beauty of Iowa. Thank you to Mount Vernon for providing a great home for the Winebar and all its nifty neighbors, and thank you to all those that love a quick jaunt to experience its charm. Hope to make yall some pizza sometime soon.

Mr. Dan Katalinich. This man has been an inspiration to many in the w**e/restaurant industry. Ridiculous work ethic (to the point of "dude chill out") Always looking out for his people in hopes that they're looking out for their people. Twenty some years ago I met this guy as a young man entering the w**e word. We were competitors, but he (along with a few others) took me under his wing and taught me about the sales industry, w**e, and how to navigate life with grace, humility, and strength. Daddy K is retiring today. His last day slang'n! LWB PEEPS, yall have sipped the juice this guy has been pouring me for years! A true gentleman. Grats and hats off from the LWB fam sir.

HI!!! LWB FAM! Happy soon to be 4th of July. Just dropping by to let yall know, we will be closed this Saturday the 4th. All us cats are wanting to enjoy a July 4th Saturday off the feet.
