BUY THEIR COFFEE. WE’LL BUY YOURS. ☕

We’re giving away FREE 16oz drinks at 22 Sierra HQ to customers who support three independently owned coffee businesses in Monett!

SUPPORT LOCAL COFFEE.

At 22 Sierra, we’ve always believed that small businesses are more than just places to spend your money. They’re part of the communities we call home.

They’re the businesses sponsoring your kids’ teams, donating to school fundraisers, supporting local families, and showing up when their neighbors need them.

And often, they’re doing it while operating on budgets that don’t leave much room to give.

Sometimes, those with the least to give are the ones giving the most of what they have.

That’s something we understand as a small business ourselves.

We also believe that supporting local shouldn’t stop at our own front door.

So, we’re doing something a little different.

Instead of asking you to come buy coffee from us, we’re asking you to go buy coffee from three independently owned businesses in Monett:

☕ Coop’s Coffee
☕ Great Dave’s Coffee
☕ Chamba Pan

And we’re putting our money where our mouth is.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

1. Pick up a Support Local Coffee punch card at 22 Sierra HQ in Mt. Vernon or any of the three participating businesses in Monett.
2. Purchase a coffee from each of the three businesses listed above and have them punch your card.
3. Bring your completed card back to 22 Sierra HQ, and we’ll give you a FREE 16oz drink.

Cards must be redeemed by November 15. No purchase from 22 Sierra is required.

Why are we doing this?

Because we believe that when we support local businesses, we’re investing in the people who invest in our communities.

The people who live here. Work here. Raise their families here. And continue showing up for the communities they call home.

We think that’s worth celebrating.

SUPPORT LOCAL COFFEE.

Today also marks 14 years since four American lives were lost in an attack on U.S. government facilities in Libya. We will not let Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, and Tyrone Woods be forgotten.

September 11, 2001 changed us forever.

We remember the nearly 3,000 lives taken that day. We remember the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, military members, and civilians who never came home that day. We also honor the service members who answered the call in the years that followed.

And we want to make sure we help bring awareness to the lives we’ve lost since, as the effects of that day continue to claim lives more than two decades later from linked illnesses and cancers.

Some gave all that day. Others carried the weight for years afterward.

We remember them all. Never Forget 🇺🇸

The hardest and loneliest battle is the one nobody knows you’re fighting. And when that battle is lost, the people left behind are left with a lifetime of questions, what-if’s, and guilt. Let them know you’re fighting so they can fight with you. Nobody needs to fight alone.

Today, on World Su***de Prevention Day, check on your buddies. Make the call. Sit down for a coffee. Have the tough conversation and let somebody fight with you.

If you or somebody you know needs help, dial 988. Veterans can press 1 for the Veterans Crisis Line.

Today is for the ones who grind.

The early risers. The swing-shift workers. The builders, drivers, farmers, linemen, nurses, mechanics, teachers, first responders, small business owners, and every hardworking man and woman who keeps the country moving.

Labor Day is more than a long weekend. It is a reminder that America is built by people willing to put in the work, make the sacrifice, and carry more than most will ever see.

To those who keep showing up, thank you.
